All attendees at the Invest in Mali Forum 2017 must be registered and accredited. Registration for the Forum will take place via an online platform:
Attendees will be given a personal and non-transferable pass.
For security reasons, delegates must wear their accreditation pass and ensure it is visible at all times throughout the Forum.
The organising staff will also wear passes indicating their role (participants, protocol officers, organisers, security, receptionists, drivers, interpreters, technical staff, etc.).
For security reasons, your pass will be given to you when you arrive at your hotel or at the Forum site.


Protocol officers, liaison officers and reception agents will be at the disposal of attendees throughout the Forum and will be located at the airport, the Forum sites and accommodation venues.


The Invest in Mali Forum 2017 would like to ask attendees to provide it with the following information as soon as possible, and by Friday 1 December 2017 at the latest:

For commercial flights: :

  • The day and time of arrival
  • The day and time of departure
  • The origin of the flight
  • The name of the airline and flight number
  • The names of the people in the delegation.

For chartered flights :

  • The day and time of arrival
  • The day and time of departure/<
  • The origin of the flight
  • The type of aircraft.

Upon arrival at Modibo Keïta Senou international airport, you will be welcomed by the Republic's protocol officers. A sign with the Invest in Mali Forum 2017 logo will help to identify us upon your arrival.


Attendees are responsible for collecting their baggage and having it delivered to their accommodation. However, the committee will make staff available who will help attendees to collect their baggage at the airport.


All journeys within Bamako will take place as part of the Invest in Mali Forum 2017 programme and only as part of this programme. No private vehicles will be made available for attendees' exclusive use.
Buses and shuttles will be made available to other Forum attendee for journeys between the airport, the hotels chosen for the event, the Forum venue and other sites, and back to the airport.

All official Forum sites at which attendees are present will be under the constant protection of the Malian authorities.


A medical service will be available to attendees. This will be open throughout the Forum and will include emergency care and medical assistance.
Yellow fever vaccine is required for people entering Mali. You will be asked to show your international vaccination certificate upon entry into the country. Recommended vaccines are: diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, tuberculosis, hepatitis B, typhoid and meningitis.
An anti-malarial treatment is strongly recommended against mosquitoes. Mosquito creams and insecticides are available on location.



All journalists wishing to cover the Forum must be registered and accredited. Photo name passes may be collected as follows:

  • Registration on the site:
  • Presentation of a valid identity document and press card
  • Location: accreditation centre: room 5, Hôtel Laïco Amitié
  • Dates and times: from Monday 4 December 2017 from 9am.

Press centre

A press centre will be available to accredited media at Hôtel de l’Amitié. It will be open from Thursday 7 December to Friday 8 December 2017 from 8am to 8pm.

The currency is the CFA franc
1 euro = 655,597 CFA
US Dollar = variable parity
Credit cards are used in some areas (banks, hotels etc.). Most of the time however, payment is made in cash.
December is one of the best months to travel to Mali. Average temperatures at that time of year range between 17° and 33°C.
Pack light clothing but with long sleeves, closed shoes and sunglasses. The time zone is UTC +0: GMT.
